A patient will feel tired all the time and will lose appetite. The patient will vomit constantly and may have diarrhea. A lab test will confirm the presence of pneumonia and the strain of bacteria that the patient has been made subject to. A major cause of fatalities is the misdiagnosis of the infection as e.g. pneumonia. The doctor may misdiagnose the infection and begin treating the symptom as opposed to the illness itself. By the time the infection Is diagnosed and a methods of treatment started, there is little it can do to reverse the effects of the bacterial infection and it could end in death.
